Job Escalator

This was quite a big project that was scheduled to go on for a few months, in the end we finished it slightly ahead of schedule. This is always a good thing, simply to get more testing in if anything.

The site was to basically be a online recruitment site for Physiotherapists and the likes. The site was for The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), therefore it was obvious why the site was dedicated to Physiotherapists only.

It works like most online recruitment sites, whereas the job would be uploaded to the site, and visitors would come and apply for these jobs. Although it was a little more complicated than this.

The CSP don't upload a majority of the vacancies themselves, recruiters would register with the site, and they are the ones uploading the jobs. Each recruiter can pay for a job listing as they enter them via credit card payments, or they can apply for credit from The CSP, if approved they can upload jobs to their hearts content, and receive a invoice (jn pdf format) sent to them every month.

Once a job is uploaded, registered physiotherapists (you need to supply your CSP number to register to prevent frauds) can then peruse the site at leisure and apply for any jobs they are interested in online.
